This sprawling 25,000 Square Foot duplex apartment with seven bedrooms was a treat to design. Visitors are at once in awe as they enter into the atrium, designed to span the entire height of the apartment. Be-spoke stone mosaic set on either side of the atrium draws the eye up to the dramatic crystal chandelier which was entirely custom-designed in collaboration with artists from Murano, Italy. Comprising over 200 individually blown crystal spirals, this was truly a work of art in itself. An sweeping spiral staircase snakes around a glass tubed elevator that was custom built for the apartment. The seven seater home theatre complete with state of the art technology and acoustics was designed as the central space for the family to come together at the end of the day. Each of the bedrooms and en suite bathrooms reflects a unique colour and material palette that brings out the personalities of the occupants. The dramatic Black Marquina Marble and Mango Onyx bathroom with steps leading to a sunken Jacuzzi is truly one of a kind.
